Czapek has created a handsome jewel, pairing the modern and innovative ‘Revolution’ case in Diamond Black™ ADLC titanium, with a unique guilloché dial in black.

The dial allows the variety of light reflections to create beautiful black shades. Distinctive by day, the Black Prince has SuperLuminova applied on the hands and hour markers to differentiate it from the rest of the collection by night. Another delight is the 7-day power reserve indicator, with the days of the week on one side so you know by day how close you are to needing to give it a wind.

For the first time in watchmaking, the crown protection has been entirely integrated into the case. Ticking in the heart is the SXH1 calibre, a proprietary movement designed by Czapek.

The Quai des Bergues collection was based on an old pocket watch design and so-named for where Francois Czapek had his first atelier in Geneva. This sleek evolution takes that venerable past and projects to the future.

The mesmerising engine-turned dial pattern created by hand, known as “ricochet guilloché”, represents the ripple-effect through 2 ever-increasing circles radiating out from the two sub dials where a skimmed stone has hit it. It took a year to find the pattern that is exclusive to Czapek, which is inspired by a historical design François Czapek created in the 1850s.
