ArtyA make unique timepieces for unique people. The avant-garde watchmaker combines unconventional materials like butterfly wings, bullets and lightning-struck steel, with designs that share its founder’s rock and roll sensibility.
Established in 2010 as the result of Yvan Arpa’s search for an outlet for creative expression in the watch industry, the former mathematics professor – having cut his teeth at Hublot and then as CEO of independent brand Romain Jerome – today plays by his own rules. With its own manufacture in central Geneva, ArtyA make one-of-a-kind and limited edition watches for a loyal following of fans that include the rock band, Kiss. Several of the brand’s audacious designs have been exhibited in New York’s MoMa and London’s Design Museum.
